Nathan is the current Victorian Subcommittee Chair of the AustralAsian Specialty Coffee Association (AASCA) and is responsible for organising the Victorian Barista Championship (VBC) and Australian Barista Championship Final. The purpose of the event is to select the best coffee maker to represent Australia in the World Barista Championship. The event attracts coffee aficionados, coffee roasters, café owners and baristas - in running the event Nathan has become a well known personality within the hospitality industry and specialty coffee community.
